First Time: Braiding My Hair !

Guys, I've been going through a hair identity crisis. Sounds like first world problems but this is very serious. My mom braided my hair for the very first time !! She tried to do it when I was like 5 and I grew my hair out and as soon as she started I burst into tears because it hurt like hell and she stopped and told me to go to my room and never ask her to braid my hair again (Tender-headed).
